Hello

My name is Melissa Karlin, and I am a nineteen-year-old photographer passionate about capturing memorable moments. I'm a junior studying marketing at the University of Pittsburgh, originally from Northern Virginia, just 20 minutes from D.C. My love for photography began at 14 when I would visit local gardens with my dad, shooting with his digital camera. A year later, I bought my own DSLR, and since then, I’ve taken thousands of photos. What started as a passion for flower photography has expanded into taking photos for my college organizations and exploring various cities with my camera.
